WHAT: Palo Alto, Calif.-based InToTally will host a hospitality suite during CTIA Wireless and be on-site to discuss its groundbreaking network optimization technology, ToT-OLPC™, which has been deployed by Vodafone Group Plc (NASDAQ:VOD).
ToT-OLPC™ will allow for critical infrastructure improvements in operators’ mobile networks and enable their ability to add new services and revenues and decrease CAPEX.
WHY: Everyone is familiar with the frustrations caused by overstressed mobile networks, such as dropped calls, short battery life, degraded and slow data transfer on our smartphones and tablets. Network saturation is only getting worse as the mobile industry transitions to LTE and 4G with HD voice, mobile video, gaming, machine-to-machine apps, remote health and other mobile services.
InToTally’s patented network performance technology solves a 20-year-old power control problem that has resulted in a 40% increase in network capacity. This groundbreaking solution is considered so critical to Vodafone’s global network infrastructure and its ability to add new revenues and decrease CAPEX, that Vodafone deployed the solution (after completing the field tests) and taken an equity stake in the company.
